Cancellations

You can cancel Chase's engagement free of charge within 14 days. After that, Chase may charge £100 per hour including VAT for reasonable preparation, processing and submission work completed up to cancellation, plus applicable disbursements. Any charge will be reasonable and capped at the amount otherwise payable if the contract continued and full compensation was received. After a compensation offer, or rejection of a qualifying FOS-guideline offer, an equivalent service fee may apply. If your claim is referred to Elmwood Law or another solicitor, that solicitor's separate engagement terms, cancellation rights and charges apply; Chase's £100 hourly rate does not apply to solicitor work.
